This was my first cruise with norwegian after 4 with Carnival. We got the the manhattan pier at about noon and it was very confusing compared to past cruises. We traveled with two other families and we met them aboard the ship. Once aboard the ship we found our room and explored the ship. the ship is beautiful! Our first activity was the ropes course. We went on when it opened and it was very fun. we also ended up doing the ropes course again the next day since they never opened the water slides. The next day on the ship while we were at sea we enjoyed dancing by the pool side.

The service on the ship was ok. the crew members did not seem as friendly as on Carnival and did not go out of their way for you. Our cabin was the family ocean view on deck 5. it was nice however was a little small for five people to stay in.

We ate in the manhattan room the first night and enjoyed our meal. We also enjoyed O'Sheehans irish pub. The entertainment was great! we enjoyed the rock of ages show as well as the piano bar and the fire and ice show. Overall we had a great time on the cruise. the main crtisism i would have is that the crew were not very friendly and the ship seemed a little disorganized in coordinating events.

Family Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window

Cabin O1

The Cabin was nice but very small compared to he ocean view on Carnival. We had five people in the room and it seemed very cramped.
