Sail Date: Nov 2015

We sailed this ship from 11/28-12/6. Overall it was a great trip but the 2 stars are because of all the quirks that happened.

The food: If was a gamble. Sometimes it was good, sometimes inedible.During breakfast, they dont have cinnamon for the french toast. The grits had NO taste and when I dared asked for a 3rd slice of bacon, the server scoffed then reluctantly gave me one extra piece of bacon. One night I ordered lobster bisque, from the main dining room and it was AWFUL, very watery, bland, and not chunk of lobster was in it. Another night I ordered my steak well done, it came to me medium rare. We had a reservation for the steakhouse for the first night. It was beautiful but we were made to wait almost 30 minutes before placing our order. The server went into a spiel about the steaks. My friend interrupted her to ask a question, because she pretty much knew what she wanted. After the server answered, with an attitude, she said "do you mind if i go on with my presentation because I wasnt finished." WOW! She also pretty much ignored us the whole time to the point where another server came over to help us. Then she seemed offended that someone else took over. Needless to say, that experience was very UNDERWHELMING, especially since we paid for it.

The pizza on Lido was beyond awful. It tasted like cardboard with a tiny sprinkle of cheese. One night I asked for pepperoni, so they put 2 pepperonis on it. The next night I asked for extra pepperoni, they put 3. Le Sigh! All of the desserts at dinner were very bland except for the carrot cake. Since this was our 4th cruise, we were VERY disappointed with the food quality.
