Once every few years I leave my dear husband home and go on a girls cruise with my best friend of 40 years. BFF and I are very active 60 something year olds and we love filling our time together with seeing and doing as much as possible. As usual we had a fabulous time together.

BFF and I flew down a day early and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on 17th Street. We walked to Joe’s café for a delicious mahi mahi sandwich, and then went shopping at the TJ Max and Publix just a few shops down from the café. We picked up 2 bottles of wine to take on the ship. That evening we walked to Carabba’s for ½ off happy hour and enjoyed an appetizer and 3 drinks for $13.

The next day we arrived at the Port at 12:00 and boarding went very quickly. After embarking we dropped off our carry on's in room C619 and went to the dining room for a delicious beef tenderloin lunch. We purchased one coffee card from the waiter. The coffee card was a great value to us. Each morning we picked up 2 brewed coffees and each evening we got 2 Mighty Leaf teas. We used our punches for specialty coffees and also for sundaes from Gelatos.

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DB

Very nice room in a quiet area. We could quickly get to the aft stairs and then to our favorite spots on the ship including the pools and the Horizon Court and Horizon Terrace.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Easy embarkation port. Close to hotels and shopping

Antigua

It was thrilling to get up close and personal with the stingrays.

St. Lucia

A full day of activity which included sightseeing, beach time, a mud bath, a Caribbean buffet lunch and soft drinks, beer and water provided all day. Herod’s tour was a great value at $85.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

The shopping area near the port was quite nice. We also took advantage of the outdoor casino bar with $0.99 local beers.

Princess Cays

Unfortunately rain hampered our fun here. We didn't stay for the island BBQ.
