This was our fourth cruise in the past 3 years. We usually fly to Sydney and depart from there on another cruise line, but we decided to give the Legend a go considering if would be based out of Brisbane and very convenient for family holidays.

My husband and I went on the 2 night sampler cruise, along with 5 other couples.

Unfortunately due to the checkin system crashing, it took 2 3/4 hours for us to board the ship. When we finally got on we were extremely hungry so we went to the buffet to grab some lunch. While there was an OK selection, most of the food looked very unappealing. We then headed to the pool deck to grab a drink with our friends. The bar was approx 10 people deep trying to be served. We found a drinks waiter which we ordered from which took 40 mins to receive our drinks. For the whole trip, the bars were very busy as well as the cafe where there would often be 10-15 people lined up to buy a coffee.

Interior Stateroom

In the past we have always had balcony rooms. This time we thought we would try an internal room midship. We were very happy with the room.
