This was our second cruise with NCL. The first was enjoyable. I wish I could say the same for this one. This ship is quite new. We had grand expectations but they frequently weren't met.
The mini-suite was very nice with a larger balcony than normal. This accommodation was probably the best feature of the cruise.
Food was definitely not what we expected. We had 6 Specialty Dinners. The Teppanyaki (hibachi) Restaurant was very good but the others were fair to poor. Cagney's (steakhouse) provided us with steaks over cooked and dry. Moderno (Brazilian-style steakhouse) very poor food and service. I received steak that was dry and tough. The fish had little flavor. In general all the meats were chewy at best. Some choices never quite made it to our table. Must admit the salad bar was nice. The Illusionarium food for both the magic show and Wine Lovers the Musical was mediocre at best. Overall we found the food at the specialty restaurants was no better, and in some cases worse, than the main dining rooms.
Very comfortable and spacious.
Grossly overcrowded.
Tour should have been cancelled. A storm hit the island with torrential down pours. Bus driver wandered around for 3 hours searching for an route back to the ship that wasn't flooded.
Interesting tour with experienced guides.
Interesting and informative
The bus provided was in very poor mechanical condition. It broke down during the tour. This vehicle was unsafe to be on the road.
