I welcome this lovely classic ship to the Australian market. It is great to have more choice in itinerary and vessel.

Ship

The ship is a good size and the public spaces have been thoughtfully redecorated and cleverly designed- many delights in store for the passengers (Pax) to discover. Love the adults only, smoke free Oasis furnishing and hey- who needs a wave rider or slide to enjoy a rest, read and dip in the tiny pool? Having said that I have many criticisms, most relating to staff training and one structural. Structurally, the Marquee show lounge is poorly designed feeling cramped with many poor sight lines, but strangely suitable for the style of productions now offered. These shows were absolutely on the money- rich costumes, interesting themes and integrated technology. I was able to work out where I was most comfortable and thus adapted to the Marquee- I certainly don't ask the Aria to adapt to me as some passengers seem to ask :)

Cabin Review

Cabin suite

Space and privacy abound and the location is quiet and convenient. Plenty of nice touches and free laundry. Nespresso machine and free non alcoholic beverages in the room fridge. Binoculars were handy to see bird life and islands in the distance. We especially loved the lounges on the veranda so we had our private world at sea when we were tired of interaction. Recommended for experienced cruisers and those who enjoy -the sea part of a voyage and -each others company more than socialising :)
