This was our 6th Celebrity cruise and the second on this class of ship.Having read the November reviews (the cruise before ours),I felt I had to come to the defence of the ship. This was our second time through the canal and the actual cruise and ports of call sell themselves. The ship itself is as we all know getting on a bit and shows it a little here and there but not to such an extent that it will spoil your cruise. As for the ship creaking all the time, well that's a new one on me. They must have put some WD40 on. I have had creaky cabins before and no doubt there were some on this ship, but not the ship as a whole.

Service in the bars was excellent with ample waiters who were moved to different venues during the evening to cater for the different shows. The shows themselves will be familiar to regular cruisers, some you'll like some you wont, but the onboard singers and dancers were excellent and there were the least number of walkouts I have ever seen on any cruise liner.

Cruise director Sara and her team worked hard, with Luigi and DJ Jaz a great double act.

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

Cabin 2B

Plenty hangers and storage space. Room stewards very good. Tiles on bathroom floor cracked. Balcony fine.
