Nice and new but very crowded. I think thats where the negative reviews come in. We were in the Haven and it would be the only way to enjoy this ship. The Garden Cafe is like Times Square at rush hour. This was our 8th cruise and 2nd with Norwegian and I have never completely stayed out of the cafe before but just one look inside will tell you why. Its not just the cafe. There are so many people that finding a machine to play in the casino or a table to play at is a big challenge. This ship added lots of extra staterooms but the amenities do not handle all of the people along with the venues that were closed.

We had a great time and loved the trip. The crew was friendly and helpful but if your going to travel on the Escape, stay in the Haven where you can at least " Escape " the crowds at the peak times.

Be careful if you order the Dining package as you could be in for a disappointment due to the restaurants being booked out. Many people were complaining of this. We had the package as well but after finding out about this problem, we booked the two nights we wanted right when we boarded. This would be good advice if you know when you want to go.

The Haven 2-bedroom Family Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

Wonderful cabin. Very nice and cozy. The Escape has more Haven Rooms than any other Norwegian ship so its not as exclusive as I have had in the past but overall this is what made our trip nice! We were very impressed of the size. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and were very comfortable.
