We have cruised several times before but this was our first experience with Norwegian.
The Good: Ship is not large or elaborate compared to some others, but was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Food quality was excellent. We loved freestyle cruising and our beverage package being included in our price was a real bonus. Cabin was small, as is usual, but the bathroom seemed a bit larger than normal. Entertainment was very good; we especially liked the Melodic Trio. Food and service in the Aqua restaurant were outstanding. Our cabin steward did a great job. Bingo, game shows and dancing in the Spinnaker lounge were fun.
The Bad: Service was generally good, but in the evenings when we went to O'Sheehan's to hear the Melodic Trio, bar service was terrible. Understanding that because we had the beverage package there was no service charge involved we tipped generously for every round of drinks but still often had to go to the bar ourselves for service. The French restaurant was a bit disappointing; the service was not as good as at Aqua.
Tight squeeze getting in and out of the double bed. Lots of storage, mini fridge, safe, TV worked well. Cabin steward was pleasant and cheerful and took great care of the cabin.
This excursion should have been cancelled. The water was so murky we could not see anything. There was coral just below the surface which the guide did not tell us about and some of us were cut or scraped by the coral. A total waste of our day.
Pretty good tour but they never slowed down or stopped so it was impossible to take good photos.
Water was very murky and it was not really possible to snorkel, but there was a swimming pool and bar and lots of lounge chairs with very nice sun shelters over them. A nice relaxing day.
