Background information: A Canadian company is offering this package deal which includes airfare, transfers and cruise on the CDF Horizon. It was our 11th cruise, but never on a Croisieres de France ship.

Ship information: it's an older ship owned by Pullman that works the Caribbean in the winter.

Travel to embarkation port: We left Montreal at 6 am, arrived in DR at 11 am and, as stated, our transfer from the Samana airport was included and went well. This ship picks up and drops off passengers at each port, so even though we were there early, we had to wait in line for 3 hours before making it to our room.
