Let me begin by saying this review will be short with a few highlights. We are a married Canadian Couple in our mid 40's. Flew out of Detroit Airport to Lauderdale the day before the cruise.

Stayed in Plantation..Sheridan Suites.Rented a car and did the pre-cruise shop etc. Hotel I would definitely choose again. 72.00 on price line..I would say this was a 4star. Service great, food and shops all with in a 2min drive.

Drove our luggage to the port next morning at 9:45..perfect as this was less to worry about and lug around. Aprox 10 mins to the port and with the help of our GPS not a problem. Once the Luggage was delivered took our time touring the sites along the board walk of Fort Laud and a leisurely breakfast. Back to the Air port to deliver the car (noon) and FREE shuttle for all rental car patrons to the cruise port...Nice touch.
