We sailed on the Diamond Princess - one of the medium sized Princess cruise ships. All days at sea were fairly quiet. Bit of a swell but the ship movement was hardly noticeable. Lots of entertainment and things to do on board, apart from stuffing yourself with all the delicacies on offer.
There were only to quay side stops and 4 tender stops. As suite passengers we had a priority ticket for getting on the tender to shore. But the other way round we had to wait in the queue...
Whether we were lucky with our room stewart we don't now but his service was excellent. Everything got done on time and you hardly noticed him.
This cabin is located at the bow end of the ship right at the end of the main corridor.
The cabin has two separate rooms: a lounge room with desk, sofa, coffee table, two lounge chairs and a wet bar and 50" flat screen (LED) TV and a bedroom with queen sized bed, desk, dressing table and another TV (smaller). There is a door between bedroom and lounge room.
Plenty of cupboard and drawers to store the content of two large suitcases and a bag with plenty of room to spare (and store the empty suitcases) - both in the bedroom and in the loungeroom.
The bathroom has a bath with shower head and a high-tech lavatory with bidet functionality. It is fairly small but not cramped.
The balcony is large (about 10m total length) but is pretty windy when at sea. The railing is solid and when you sit in a deck chair you only see the sky and the mast . When arriving or leaving port it offers great views both forward and to the side.
Well organised in small six seaters. Visited some interesting places like the Cliffs of Jokin and a botanical garden.
A lot cheaper than what Princess had on offer (about 50%). Visit to a local village with kava ceremony and a tour around the island.
We visited a couple of look out points and a church. The guide did not bother to stop at an interesting beach where we could have watched the wind surfers but dropped us in a small shopping area along another beach for about 1.5 hour.
Another kava ceremony in a traditional village and a tour around town.
