I may be wrong, but I do believe RCI has gotten it all together with our latest cruise. This is only our second cruise on RCI but already made reservations for another on next year.

Embarkation at Port Canaveral, as always, was quick and painless. We were in the Windjammer within 25 minutes of arrival. I heard the embarkation facility is only about a year old and with one "small" problem, it is set up so things flow smoothly. The "small" problem is the elevators (my wife requires a wheelchair for distances of any length). I think freight elevators would be a better idea for moving large numbers of handicapped/disabled passengers.

We avoided the dining room and did our eating in the Windjammer dining area. There was always plenty to eat and a large assortment to choose from. No complaints on the food. Maybe there could be a little more variety in the vegetable choices.

Cabin Review

Large Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin F

Our cabin attendant, Ketut Budiada, went above and beyond to make this cruise a more enjoyable event. Our cabin was always cleaned whenever we went out, and, of course, the towel critters were there to greet us in the evening.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Combination, modified glass-bottom boat tour/fish feeding, and shopping stop. Boat portion was nice, low-thrill level event. Shopping in Marigot. Eat or shop. No time for both, but we've been there before, so we ate.

St. Thomas

Didn't take any excursions, but did go into the downtown area. Hasn't changed any since an earlier visit to the area.
