I am big on objectivity in reviews, so I am going to try to point out as much as possible so hopefully it will help anyone reading this. Also, I like to cover only the things the cruise line has control over. Not weather, or bad service by someone at the gas station where I filled up on the way in like some do.

First off, a little about myself. This was my 11th Carnival Cruise and 13th total cruise. My wife and are both 40 and like to have a good time, but are not partiers. We have also done multiple all inclusives, so we have significant travle experience. We eat in the MDR as much as possible to stay away from the buffet, like to experience all the entertainment (Playlist, comedians, lido entertainment, dive in movies, etc).

Embarkation: Embarkation at Port Everglades was very smooth. We arrived inside the terminal around 11:00am having already checked our bags and we were on the ship by 11:45. Bags were at our rooms before 2pm, and the safety drill went smoothly.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

Stateroom: We were very happy with our stateroom selection. We booked room 2277, which is ocean view with a couch in it. More storage than we could use, very clean and well appointed. Our steward was excellent too. I have to say we have rarely had a bad steward, but Jo was fantastic.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We did not do an excursion here, but the embarkation experience was very smooth.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

No excursion here. Some friends picked us up and drove us around the island to see as much as possible. Had lunch at Sunset House and it was AWESOME!!

Cozumel

No excursion, just hung out at Margaritaville and Senior Frogs.
