Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

This is our 3rd NCL cruise and our second to the Caribbean. We enjoy the type of shipboard experiences NCL offers and thought the entertainment on the Getaway was the best yet: Legally Blonde, the Musical, Illusionarium (dinner theatre), and our favorite, Burn the Floor. The service was excellent, and our cabin, although one of the smallest we've experienced on a ship, was comfortable, with well thought out spaces, especially in the bathroom.

On our first shore day, the captain diverted from the planned destination due to poor weather and I want to commend the ship's shore excursion staff for the way they worked to meet everyone's needs in such a short amount of time.

We had the dining package and were able to enjoy most of the specialty restaurants: Le Bistro, Cagney's, La Cucina, Moderno, and Teppanaki. Food quality was excellent overall, and our favorites were Cagney's (went twice) and Moderno.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

Small but with well designed organizational and storage spaces, Bathroom was amazingly comfortable for such a small space.

Port Reviews

Ocho Rios

Relaxing and tranquil. Details were as described. We booked this through the cruise line since it was quite a distance away from the port.

Cozumel

Fantastic experience for a non-diver! Guides were friendly, helpful and provided us a wonderful experience.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Lovely place, very clean and nicely planned out. Adjacent restaurant was nice too.
