There were several issues on this cruise that left us frustrated. The cabin we booked was way too small - even though we were told that four of us could fit. Even the cabin steward thought it was terrible that they book us in that cabin due to the space issue. They should not book cabin A702 for four people! We were moved to D728 and it was much better - but it took them two days to do that.
Also, two of our three excursions were cancelled and they did little to help us with other options.
The food was just ok. Some of the staff was great but others looked defeated to be there. Princess did a good job of accommodating us when we were stuck in the fog when the Port of Houston closed. We had to spend an extra night at sea.
This cabin is NOT big enough for 4 people (including kids). Princess assured me that it was but putting a roll-away bed in this cabin leaves no floor space. The balcony was blocked. Also, the bathroom was dirty and the carpet was stained. The cabin steward was very nice but that did make up for the disaster. We made a fuss until Princess moved us to a larger cabin. Do not book this cabin for a family of 3 or 4 people!
The kids really enjoyed the monkeys and then going to the beach afterwards.
This was an alternate excursion when the Xunantunic excursion was cancelled. I would not recommend it. It was not very worthwhile for the money.
We went to "The Aquarium" on our own because Princess cancelled our excursion. I felt like we were being taken advantage of the whole time we were in Cozumel. Not a good plan for a family with children. Princess did nothing to help us reschedule an excursion here. Do not go off on your own. Ensure that you do an excursion -otherwise it's a bit risky.
