Amazing stress free cruise! My husband and I booked a guaranteed inside (the cheapest available) and ended up in room 8013. Being on the 8th deck and right below the pool bar area we thought it was going to be noisy, but it wasn't. The room was spacious, the AC worked great, and we had an awesome room steward! We also luckily got our own table for 2 in the dining room with fantastic waitstaff. We enjoyed the pools and hot tub, as well as the sauna and spa. Since we didn't have a balcony cabin, we had to search around a bit for a peaceful spot to lounge around and sit and read, but we found a nice area on the aft section of the ship just outside the gym/spa area. We found the entertainment all pretty good, with an Asian female band that was truly incredible!

The food was all pretty good in the main dining room, but the menus would change slightly from whatever was advertised on the dining touch screen. The lobster dinner was advertised as giant prawn, so I was pretty thrilled when that later was changed to lobster! The buffet had a great breakfast selection, and I could always find something good to eat. The desserts weren't so great with a lot of gelatinous flavorless mounds in pretty shapes.

The whole reason we took this cruise was the itinerary! So it was disappointing when we couldn't port in Taiwan. However, the rest of the ports were pretty amazing! Overall the cruise was amazing!

Hong Kong

We flew into Lantau Island and hired a cab to take us to Tai O village where we stayed Espace Elastique B&B right in the village. We were able to wander the villge early before heading to the Ngong Ping cable car where we had an amazing ride over the island. Next we transfered to the Courtyard Marriot which was convenient for the Peak Tram and Victoria's Peak. Last we moved to the Sheraton Hong Kong Towers, which was perfect for the Star Ferry and exploring the waterfront. It was an easy taxi transer to the ship.

Hidden Valley Resort Ship excursion was awesome.
