We were treated so wonderfully by everyone. The men at the International Cafe, where I would go at 3:00 AM were always so thoughtful. The staff at the Horizon Court were cheerful and acted like we were doing them a favor letting them get us things. Our waiter at dinner gave me helpful hints on ways to make our trip more enjoyable, like going to the Sanctuary. We made friends and enjoyed meeting them at the Wheelhouse for Happy Hour. Afterwards we played trivia with them. We had a booked schedule since I had rebooked excursions at every port. We learned so much on all of them. We did go with a private tour in Cartagena and there was a noticeable lack of quality. People who say they get the same tour from private vans don't know the difference. We also had to pay to get into the nunnery, and other places, no lunch was included. I was hesitant to go someplace that had not been checked out already. It verified what I had heard that Princess screens the venders they use for excursions.
Many people praised Sabatini's so we went there and it was well worth the surcharge. The enrichment lectures were useful. There was even one on the Camino de Santiago. It was so difficult to leave the ship. I booked two more cruises as soon as I got home,
It had everything we needed. Ann was our steward and responded quickly to any concern. We did not have the robes I requested, she brought them right away. We wanted an extra sheet, she put it on just like described. She even made a cute animal out of towels.
We only spent about an hour walking down to Pier 39.
My husband went diving and I took a snorkel tour. They were both enjoyable, what we expected.
We hiked around the rim of a volcano.
It was boring and the tour guide did not talk much.
Loved this, the drivers and guides were awesome. It was wonderful to go swimming at the end. The water was clear and warm. Great day!
