GOOD First and foremost Headliners Theatre Company. Thoroughly professional, energetic and imaginatively choreographed. In particular lead vocalist Jayson Keeler was outstanding. Best we've seen on a cruise. We also enjoyed E. Sarah Carter, a talented and vibrant fiddler. Embarkation and disembarkation straight forward and organised. Art consultant Lindsay gave interesting and informative lectures. Fitness room well equipped and spacious. Guest lecturer, Kathy produced well researched, interesting talks. Cabin Steward Ports of call. Quiet breakfasts at Tazzine (Coffee card advised) Tea and biscuits in cabin NOT SO GOOD Ship needs a makeover. Stained carpets, inadequate cleaning and a lack of maintenance in some public areas. Food variable. Bread not fresh and on one occasion too stale eat. Soup cold but not Gazpacho! Breakfast in Saffron dreadful, cold poached eggs sent back and no pot of tea so waited ages for refill. Service in Baytree at Dinner good ( maybe a little too fast) and one Gala meal was first class but most meals okish with excellent sweets. Not possible to 'lap the deck' as front section mostly closed due to bad weather? Had to walk back and forth and past lots of smokers so I did a bit of passive inhalation on my walks. Stern of Promenade Deck often awash and deck often crowded so v. dangerous to run. Shows so popular that it was wise to arrive a least 30 mins before start to get a decent seat. TV and interactive stuff slower than a one legged cheeter.

Cabin Review

Outside Twin with Balcony and Shower
Cabin JB A602
We were well looked after by steward Dinesh, but cabin rather tired and needs refurb. Stained carpet, balcony door doesn't seal and there are no voiles, just curtains. Cabin is ,however, well appointed and we experienced little noise from outside. Lots of creaks and rattles but the weather was pretty rough and the position (midships) definitely cut down the amount of movement
