This was our 7th cruise in total and our 2nd with Celebrity, the first being on the Infinity. We chose Celebrity again as we find that you get a few extras that maybe you don't get on other lines. We have been twice with Carnival and 3 times with Royal Caribbean. We are in our late forties and Celebrity does cater for a slightly older age group than RCI and Carnival but that is not a problem for us.

Embarkation was very quick. We arrived at the dock at 12 noon and were onboard with our welcome drink in our hands at 12.30!! Not bad...

We had Room 8178 ( Balcony 1c) which was ready at 2pm. We had a lovely lunch in the Oceanview and got accustomed to the ship whilst we were waiting. The ship is very well arranged and spotlessly clean. The indoor pool area is really nice and the lawn on the top is a great concept.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1C

Cabin 1C

Our cabin was very nice and spacious with a king bed and a cream leather sofa. There was plenty of storage and hanging space for a 2 week cruise which was a bonus. There is room under the bed to store your empty suitcases too. There is a flat screen TV on which we could watch free movies, Sky news, etc. You can also view your account, order room service, view photos and book shore excursions if you wanted to. There is a hair dryer and a tea/coffee making facilities. The shower room was of a good size with lots of storage. The balcony was of a good size with a table and 2 chairs. The room is cleaned every morning and the bed is turned down in the evening with chocolates on the pillows.
