Let me start by saying my family and I stayed in 8016, a two bedroom suite on the concierge level, and I would highly recommend it to anyone! The accommodations were fabulous, felt extremely spacious, and well appointed. No matter what room type you decide on, I would encourage anyone to splurge on the concierge level. I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff, Julia and Andy, who run the concierge level. They were so attentive to my two young children, made us feel welcome and pampered, and went above and beyond to make the trip even more memorable than it already was.
Wherever you stay though, the boat is magical and I would highly recommend it to anyone! the kids programs are top notch, the shows are fabulous and entertaining for every age group. Disney's island Castaway Cay is fabulous, here I would highly recommend the cabana so you have a designated spot to hang out!
The only reason I would not give the Magic five stars is because on disembarking the boat I realized I had left my wedding and engagement ring (which has been handed down in my husbands family for three generations so completely and totally irreplaceable) on the bedside table (the same spot I had taken them off every night and left them). As soon as I realized what I had done (less than thirty minutes from leaving the ship), I called and emailed the only DCL numbers for items left on the ship. In my heart, I knew the gentleman who cleaned our room each and every day we were there would return to them to me, but after numerous calls and emails they claim that nothing had shown up. Needless to say I am devastated; not only for my wedding and engagement and the symbolism they have to me, but for the tradition that has been broken in my family.
Very typical wasn't overly impressed
Would recommend a private cabana. Has its own little beach with toys and snorkel gear. Nice to have a more private less crowded area to relax.
