After a fantastic first cruise, also with Royal Caribbean, we almost couldn't wait for this one. We indeed had a fantastic holliday. The splendour was not as great as our previous ship (the Navigator), but still very good. The personel was good but did not deliver the prommissed wow. They were polite and did their job fine, though. A problem with the ship itself was the deckplan. We love to enjoy the piano-music in the Scoonerbar, while drinking a cool cocktail. The position of the scoonerbar was directly next to the center, one deck above the R bar. The music of the entertainment in the Center was really loud and was programmed at the same time as the pianist. The result was that, unless you had seats directly around the piano you couldn't even listen.

The activities on board of the ship were also not for "people like us". We are a young couple (round 30 years old) but the activities seemed to be especially for people around 50 years. In our first (and next) cruise we did not experience this at all.

The singers and dancers of the ship were really good. Strong voices, fine shows.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

Very beautifull city. Fantastic for people who love history. Kind People. And they serve a good pizza in the small streets!

Athens (Piraeus)

We arrived rather early at the Akropolis. Therefor it was not to crowdy. Perhaps the Akropolis was a little disapointment because the lack of information and the rather small size. We enjoyed our time in the city, though.
