I am platinum level with Queen Mary II meaning I have sailed in excess of 70 nights. I have caught the ship out of Southampton, New York and Fort Lauderdale. I have been everywhere she goes with exception of the World Cruise.

My most recent voyage M420 from New York to Quebec and back from September 15, 2014 through September 27, 2014 is probably my last on the ship. I paid a great deal of extra money for a Princess Suite and was stunned to find small showers/tubs and a single cathode TV in the room with a 19 inch screen. I spent $10,000 and got a TV that was not much larger than my laptop screen.

The ship is appearing more old and dated and is not competitive with Celebrity Silhouette and other more modern ships. The baths are ridiculously small, you have to hang your body parts in and out of the shower to wash various portions of yourself as the showers and tubs are stupidly thought out and Euro small. Even paying for the Princess Grills only got me a tub that was ½ size of general cabins on other lines. The newer Victoria and Elizabeth baths are even smaller.

Princess Suite

$10,000 got me a single 19" TV screen. Stupidly small shower/tub. These are the same furnishings as when she launched 12 years ago.
