Sailed on the Star the week of November 15th there were four of us cruising, my 6th cruise and 2nd with Norwegian.

I truly enjoyed my week on the Star. Our balcony room was great. Bathroom was definitely recently updated. There was just enough storage space. If you have a lot of electronics, I would recommend bringing a powerstrip. Our room steward, I Putu, was just amazing. He always had a smile on and was easily available for anything we needed. His towel animals were great as well!

Had breakfast delivered to our cabin every day. Continental food was included, highly recommend the cinnamon rolls & crescents. Ryan delivered our food every morning and was the best employee we came across all week. Every morning he wished me a happy birthday and gave me a little tidbit on the port we had just arrived in or something fun to do on the ship that day. He truly started our morning off great! Loved the food and service in the specialty restaurants and Ginza. We ate at Cagney’s, La Cucina and Moderno. We tried Aqua and Versailles but felt the food was way better in the specialty restaurants. O’Sheehans was super slow service every time we tried it. We heard people complaining all week about the speed of service in the restaurants. We like to enjoy our meals, have good conversation and a few glasses of wine during dinner so the speed of service was perfect for us. Topsider’s Grill had great day at sea lunches as well. Definitely recommend trying Cagney’s that was the best meal we had all week. Read more
