having booked my cruise well over a year in advance for my daughter's 40th b-day, to say that the anticipation of the escape came to a complete stop soon after boarding, is being kind. The CONNECT group took over the entire ship, ie: travel agents; from all the specialty dining rooms, the spas, the pool, the theater, the H20, i could go on but you get the picture. having to eat in the garden cafe for dinner was disgusting. the group had their private events every day, all day and again into the evening. walking by a restaurant and not seeing a soul at the tables but were told everything was booked was worse than a slap in the face.

i paid a lot of money for this cruise but was treated like a low class citizen. the food was not the best, the staff were in their own world feeling overwhelmed by the numbers of people. very limited vegan choices. the entertainment was cancelled for the week. the super slide was out of order. the line to the jimmy buffet somewhere was a joke, standing for several hours only to find out over an hour waiting time. forget that. the cabin was quite small for 3 people, however, the bathroom with its shower was a delight. the fitness room was wonderful, altho, i never once saw a staff member.

service was poor, even at Taste, the food was worse. the atrium was used for so many functions and was so loud if you needed to be at guest services to complain, it was impossible to hear. very little room if something was going on at the atrium. i am a platinum guest and have been on many NCL ships in the past. Unfortunately, i have a family cruise planned in april 2016 so i will join NCL once again, however, i will have second thoughts if i plan another cruise on NCL. i have never been so disappointed in the service. the ship was beautiful and i loved the waterfront.

very small for 3 people, always having to step sideways. bathroom was wonderful, big shower and very nice sink, very long with double faucets.
