Overall, very pleased with the boat and activities. Food was great. Servers were all friendly. We had a handicap accessible room and it was the most spacious of the three NCL boats we have been on so far. Unlocking the door with key card will automatically open door which was great for hubby to enter with his motorized scooter. Drawback to this room was there was a doorbell in hallway which people would randomly press while walking by, setting off buzzers and lights at any time of day/night in our room.

Wished there was an adults only (free) dining area, as this cruise also featured Nickelodeon so there were many kids. There was not a night we went out to eat that there wasn't a crying baby nearby. I'm not into paying for the upgraded restaurants as we've done this in the past and there isn't any substantial difference in the food. The food on this cruise in the free dining areas was quite good and no complaints at all with it.

Biggest complaint I have on this cruise is on the 7th deck the casino is located midship and you have to walk through it to get to elevators and/or main areas (theater, dining, etc.) It stunk to high heaven of cigarette smoke at any given time (even when empty) and was such a drawback that I would intentionally be on another floor and go to whatever side of ship I needed to be on before going to the 7th floor just so I could avoid walking through the casino. Being a "family ship", I don't think dragging children through the casino area is a good thing either. The casino should be in a separate closed off area.

Very, very nice. Handicapped accessible room was spacious and well designed to get around.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Just did shopping in port area. Was fun and yes, the typical vendors who try to get you to buy their stuff, but also many other respectful vendors who sold really neat items and didn't get in your face.

Miami

Did nothing but travel from airport to cruise terminal by taxi, which was $27 each way. Much cheaper than paying by person. Prices for taxi are fixed, so no surprise for cost.
