After travelling such a great distance from Spain to Singapore and arriving to what you hope is going to be a memorable holiday, it was nothing of the sort. Just a great big disappointment. Its really hard to say what was wrong as there was so much that wasn't up to the standard that we had become accustomed too. The staff on the whole were friendly and obliging but that's where it stopped. The food was mostly cold unless you complained and had it sent back, then it came out piping hot! (why not the first time)? The entertainment was dreadful, such 2nd rate performers. Quite embarrassing to be honest. Walked out of 2 shows. The only one that was worthy of watching was Heart of Spades which were 2 lads from Australia that were found busking on the streets and invited to perform! Thank God they accepted as they were superb. The excursions were far too much money and not good enough. We felt quite deflated. Our cabin was an aft balcony and had a very large unusual shape to it and not a sliding patio door glass door but a door with a window that opened very noisily. Now the Television! It tended to loose service at sorts of strange times? and we found that there was about 4 films on a loop everyday all day and night! Dreadful. We won't be going back to RCI unless they buck themselves up. Instead of spending so much money on these big ships perhaps they should re look into all there past guests that have been loyal to them for many years and start offering better raised standard for us. Well were off on MSC in January and NCL in February again and I am looking forward to the usual great entertainment and service that we usually receive. People complain about MSC but I can assure you after being on there ships 5 times they are far better than what we had to put up with. Definitely not value for money
