Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Grand Suite

Booked a Grand Suite and expected under Solarium whirlpool. Suite 1256 on deck 10 is two suites closer to the bow than under whirlpool. Not far from the elevator and fairly quiet. Did hear moving the heavy solarium chairs and tables early morning but not each morning.

Embarkation was easy. The expected traffic congestion getting to the port was very light in comparison to January's cruise. Easy check-in and access to the ship.

Suite was as expected except balcony deck was stained from poor ceiling paint. Explained each time it gets wet, it stains the deck with white spots. I brought an outlet bar and it sat perfectly on the desk under the mirror. There are only 2 outlets at the desk. Tons of storage with lots of drawers. Not much shelf space as it's all closet hanging area. The bathroom is nice with two sinks, deep tub and granite shelf with an abundance of towels. Good storage above sinks and below. But, the adjustable shower head needs to be updated as the pressure isn't very strong.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Deck 10 is under pool and solarium. Tried for a suite under whirlpool but missed it by two suites. Fairly quiet but twice heard moving of heavy chairs early morning. Not far from bow elevator, but quiet. Long walk to concierge lounge as it's located near aft elevators.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Drove to parking garage and hauled luggage to check-in to avoid winding around to luggage drop only to U-turn back to garage.

Falmouth

Newer port and never left immediate area. Did enjoy Margaritaville and use free, fast Wi-Fi and some cocktails.
