This was our 8th TA with RCL/Celebrity and with the exception of what can only be described as the most diabolical Wi Wi system and very poor immigration arrangements in Tampa, my wife and I had a great cruise, if not quite, an exceptional one.

As independent travellers we booked our own flights with BA from Edinburgh to Barcelona with an overnight stay in the Hotel Acta Mimic, which is very conveniently close to the cruise terminal.

Boarding at 11:00 hrs was a breeze, straight through the required joining administration and on board and settled in the Solarium for a light lunch, until the staterooms were opened at 13:00hrs. Our balcony stateroom No. 7128 on the port side was slightly larger than some we have experienced and had recently been refurbished as had the vessel during the previous docking period. Our stateroom attendant Sara was a star and looked after us throughout the cruise, attending to our minor requests with a charming smile and a very pleasant manner.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Slightly lager than some with a 3 seat settee. Unrestricted balcony view with a table and two chairs. Refurbished bathroom. A quiet stateroom, but those staterooms only a few further aft were quite noisy due to noise from the engine room.
