This was the second cruise on Braemar following 4 on the Black Watch. As on all 6 cruises, from embarkation, 5 from Dover and 1 from Southampton, everything was straightforward and very efficient. The same remark applies to disembarkation. I make particular reference to the friendliness of the crew on both ships who could not be more helpful. The quality of the food was of a very high order as was the evening entertainment at all of the various venues throughout the ships. The cabins booked, 1 with balcony and 5 superior outside, were comfortable, clean and perfectly adequate. Over the 6 cruises we went on a number of excursions in Norway, Iceland and the Baltic. All well organised and we have been left with numerous happy memories of visits to interesting and beautiful locations, particularly in Norway. I am booked again on Braemar next year visiting Germany in April. I hope to continue my association with Fred Olsen for some years to come who, in my opinion, cannot be equaled in the service the company provides.
