Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Sunset Veranda

This was my first time on a Celebrity ship. I have sailed over 20 cruises, mostly with Royal Caribbean, but also have sailed on four other lines.

First off I just want to say I thought the service everywhere was pretty much outstanding. I love the little extras that they do. For example, give you a nice cold towel and a drink when you get back on board after a day in the hot sun. I thought a lot of the officers, especially the hotel director and housekeeping supervisor were so friendly and outgoing.

Getting on board. Even though this was the first cruise after the transatlantic, I did not feel that it took all that long to board, but I did get there around 11am and had to wait until 12:20pm to board.

Cabin Review

Sunset Veranda

Cabin SV

I like the cabin because of it's location. However, I do not think the storage area is practical It is above the bed. Therefore, most people have to get up onto the bed to get their stuff out. What would have been a good storage space would be under the bench of the couch. Our veranda was bigger then most of the veranda's on the ship, but compared to other AFT veranda's I have gotten on other ships, it was nothing special. Our housekeeper, Babylon, was out of this world. I wish she could be my housekeeper on every cruise I go on.
