We are frequent cruisers on NCL when we arrived at the terminal I asked a grounds person where we needed to stand she answered in a very nasty tone it states that on your ticket! I said ok where she said right there it says your a silver Latitude member so you stand in the blue line...silver member blue line I guess I should have known that! Two hours later we finally got up to the desk to check in- Got onboard went directly up to the pool area where normally there is a band playing and waiters running all over offering you buckets of beer or drink of the day in their souvenir cup normally a nice frozen drink or a mixed fruity drink but to our surprise no waiters no drinks in souvenir cups. We looked for a waiter for about 1 hour and finally my husband had to go to the bar and get drinks, this went on all week long!!! Drinks are in small tiny little plastic cups mostly filled with ice, no more cherries no more fruit just a drink in a plastic ugly cup! We were on with a Casino package which is you are allowed "House" drinks in the Casino for free we went into the casino and again no waiters and no Service bar lines out the door, my husband asked for a Mojito and he got laughed at and was told that was not a "House" drink when he asked what a "House" drink was he was told Vodka, whiskey, Beer and wine not sue what's in a Mojito but I think the mints leaves aren't that expensive. Now onto the plumbing issue ...can you say no flushing allowed on this trip. The toilets were backing up or not flushing at all! The smell was pretty obnoxious and we ended up having to come into Tampa 24 hours early...which meant they had to close all shops and the Casino on the ship ...which meant the last evening we had a choice, dinner and bed because we weren't allowed off ship until the next morning and I refused to pay for one more drink when we were suppose to have the drink package in the Casino which was a complete joke!!!!! We were not apologized to for the inconveniences and they made very light of it. People were not happy they were complaining all week about the Horrible Service on this ship and if you went to the front desk you were told to take it up with Corporate when w e got home which I have. Let's see what comes out of it...my guess nothing! The only positive to this cruise was our room steward just a pure joy to deal with a very hard working man who's only goal was to please you...We were celebrating our 24th anniversary and I have to say it really was a terrible trip!
