We arrived at Southampton in pouring rain, and quickly parked in the Blue Badge parking area.
embarkation was very efficient and we received assistance to get on board. this was our 23rd cruise and the first on Eclipse.
The stateroom was large and the bathroom had excellent shower with flexible shower head as well as an overhead one.The bathroom had grab rails which enabled easy transfer from toilet to shower.
Very large plenty of room for wheelchair. Good T V with interactive services like checking your account and watching videos. There was a kettle and coffee also a fridge.
Bathroom already described was excellent with plenty of room to man over wheelchair.
Went shopping at C&A and at shopping centre near dock.
We took service bus €3.60 each to the Oceanarium which is free for wheelchair users and there carers
We used the accessable shuttle bus to visit the town.
Did not see much as the wheelchair was broken, town was only a few minutes walk
Gran canaria is good to buy tobacco and we walked to sea front
