Let me start by saying that my husband and I have been on 38 cruises. We cruise out of Baltimore because it is convenient. Embarkation and disembarkation is a breeze . We were on the ship by 11:00 AM. We went to the Windjammer for lunch and it was quite crowded. That is to be expected, however the food was not even warm. When we arrived at our room our luggage was already there,so we got settled in.

We were traveling with our daughter and her husband ( their first cruise) and had arranged to be seated with them at first seating dinner in the dining room. That didn't happen. It took some time to get that straightened out. We ate every dinner in the MD and it was a hit or miss. Sometimes the food was room temperature and not very good and other times it was very good. Lunch in the MD was another story. It took over an hour to take our order. When we did get our food the beef was not cooked. It was totally raw.

We are Diamond members of the Crown and Anchor and have several amenities. In the Diamond Club the coffee machine hardly ever worked. We get 1 free picture of our choice and since we have many all we wanted was one of our daughter but since we wern't in the picture we couldn't get it. What a rip off. We never got any of the luggage tags to disembark and never got the customs form. There was a welcome back party for Diamond members but we never got that invitation either. We talked to many people who said that the ship was in poor condition. They had drawers missing in their cabin. They had very uncomfortable beds and very old carpet. Also one person told us that the wooden railing on the balcony was missing. The ship has been refurbished but is showing it's age. As much business as RCI does in Baltimore. it would be nice to have one of the newer ships come in there. As far as cruising on that ship again I think we will stick with Celebrity and Princess.

Cabin Review

Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin PV

This particular cabin is new to the ship. It use to be the library. It is located mid ship. There is some noise because it is under the pool and they move chairs around early in the morning. Other than that is is very nice cabin. There is lots of storage and space and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is quite small but that is expected on ships. It would be nice if the shower had doors instead of the old curtain. The Television is another story. There is nothing much of any interest and most of the shows are in Spanish. If you don't have a balcony this room is the next best thing. I would definitely stay in it again.
