As a quick summary it seems that royal Caribbean is becoming more of a budget cruise line when it comes to food ...our last cruise was thomson , ..there was lobster on the menu...on royal Caribbean it was a chargeable extra.

On royal Caribbean the fish pie had crab sticks in it an not a lot else. The scallops (well I think they were scallops were the size of peas).

Breakfast in the main dining room is now part self service( get your own cereals , orange juice etc) and part waiter (omelettes, sausages, bacon etc) but you wait for ages for anything ordered. This was out of keeping with service which generally was very good. Read more
