Just got back from my second cruise on the Pride. Overall it was a nice cruise. Food was great! The Guys Burgers and the Blue Iguana (i think that is the name of the burrito place)-both were excellent. Service was awesome though not very personal. We had a different wait staff every night in the MDR. Ship was very clean.
The shows were blah which was a disappointment since our cruise in 2013 had standing ovations at every show. The comedy was good. The cruise director, Steve, is totally out of touch. Nice guy but rushed through everything he had to be part of. We got the impression that the director's team did not get along with each other very well. My other cruises had great, interactive cruise directors so this was a disappointment. There was no party at the onset of the cruise. We just left the port of Baltimore with no fanfare at all. There is not much to do during the day unless you like bingo and trivia. We had a lot of down time lounging around the pool which is a good thing but got very boring after a few days.
The last day had nothing going on so the post-cruise depression set in early. My RCL cruise in January of this year had so much going on when headed back to port that I didn't get the blues until I was in the car on the way home. It was very windy and cold and the top was not closed so no one could use the pools.
Nice clean cabin with big enough bathroom. The sofa is miserably uncomfortable but I didn't spend much time sitting on it.
