Our cruise got off to a late start, not sure vendors were ready since this was the ships first time from the US in 7 years. The port is smaller then what we have traveled out of before, and felt pretty congested. From the time we arrived at the port till we boarded was about 2.5 hours. High winds made for a rough first sea day, plus cooler temps till we go closer to Mexico. The ship is still decorated in the Hawaiian theme, which overall is beautiful. Some areas could use some refurbishing. Activities around the ship were plentiful despite its smaller size. We enjoyed David Naster, the comedian, as well as the magician. The show in the theater changes nightly, so at the beginning make sure you decide what you don't want to miss.

Service was my only real complaint. It's not up to par with past cruise I have been on. I heard this complaint widely while on the cruise. I felt they were understaffed as well as a lot of new crew. Bar service was extremely slow and it at times would take 20+mins to receive your drink. We did to excursions one in Belize and one in Roatan. We chose to just walk around and shop in Cozumel. In Belize we did the Sharks, Rays, and Island Getaway. This turned into a tragedy after 20 mins in the water, we lost one of our passengers. Had the excursion gone as planned and we were dropped off in 4 ft of water instead of 12 ft this tragedy could of been avoided. NCL did refund everyone their money, but could of offered some counseling to those who needed it. In Roatan we did the dolphin encounter. I can not say enough great things about this beautiful place. A short bus ride later we arrived at the Anthony's Key Resort. We were taken by small boat for a 5 min ride to the baileys keys. After a short orientation we were lead to the ocean in about 4 ft of water and got to interact, touch and love the Dolphins.

We stayed in a midship mini suite. There were 3 of us ladies. Cabin was clean, again could use so updating, but was ample in sixpence and storage. Dinning on the ship was very good, we did not do any speciality dinning. Disembarkation was pretty fast for us as we chose to walk off. Took us about 20 mins. In closing it was a great cruise overall but I have decided bigger ships are more for me.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Beds were comfy, not so much with the pull out. Had a nice size balcony. The bathroom was also a really good size. The tub is a plus, but not so comfy to take a good bath in. Also for people with mobility issues climbing in the shower would be an issue.
