Just back from transatlantic and 2 week cruise round the Caribbean on Britannia. Had a great time. The call at Tenerife on the way out was caused by a problem with the port in Madeira - not something P & O could have foreseen. The ship is very elegant, and, yes, the layout is different from the rest of the fleet - but the layout inside was well designed so the size of the ship is not too intimidating.

Entertainment was of a high standard and the Dance instructors on both cruises were excellent. Madeleine Bell and the Morecombe and Wise acts in the Limelight Club were excellent.

The Cookery Club was great fun and the food in the speciality restaurants was very good. The only criticisms really were lack of maintenance e.g. lift buttons, lighting on Lido deck - should be attended to- especially with the ship being so new.
