Where to start??
Cruise was first out of US after being in Europe for last 8 yrs. Therefore, you heard this as an excuse repeatedly for 7 days. Start off, cabin was not ready when we boarded. Keep in mind, we had our keys and was granted access to our suite. However, dirty towels were in drawer, nothing had been wiped down and desk drawers still had previous guests free style information, plus their name and details. The mini fridge was unlocked (shouldn't have been) due to Texas law while in port. No liqueur in the fridge just old opened milk containers. Called the room attendant to have everything addressed-- but this was our first 10 mins on board. It set the stage for everything else yet to come. Very much felt like a bait and switch-- one of the largest issues, the Nickelodeon theme is no where to be found. Let me tell ya, we came with a 3yr old in tow...to find none of the advertised Nickelodeon themes until day 7. Why??? Because the ship just got back from Europe... seriously, I paid over $3k for my family to have a nice vacation... It was one Miss-step after the other.
By the way... This drink package offering??? The crew... All of the crew continue to make jokes about Texans.. Why? The good liquar, gone on Day 5. Most of the dinner items, gone day 6. Bacon?? Gone day 5....daily the restaurants ran out of bacon--- however if the cooks would cook it, the guests wouldn't pull 20 pieces on their plates just to eat 1-2 pieces and throw the rest away. Needless to say, I will not book another Norweigan Cruiseagain!
Okay room..very small---attendants in regular cabin area by far much better and more attentive.
