Just back from a 7 night cruise on the Spirit, Due to safety concerns we never got to Beirut instead we went to Rhodes. Picked up from airport and taken to the ship and very quickly checked in and onboard, We have cruised with Thomson a few times now but this was the first time on the Spirit yes she is getting old but kept very clean, our cabin was an inside on deck 2 unfortunately the walls are very thin and we could here everything from next door who liked to party all night but a quick call to reception and we were given a new cabin on deck 3. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of wardrobe space, the shower toilet area is very tired looking but functional there is a safe in the cabin but you need to pay for it which seems very mean to me.

The food in all the resteraunts was very good and always plenty choice they even had a pub lunch one afternoon. We were all inclusive and found plenty of choice on the drinks package only 1 complaint is that you have to pay for bottled water. The entertainment was very good all over the ship and all off the entertainment staff are a credit to Thomson. Maurice Grumbleweed was the guest comedian and was fantastic. I can't fault any off the staff on the ship always smileing and chatting. All in all I would recommend the Spirit and will be booking again with Thomson in the near future.
