The Pacific Eden has been a complete disappointment. I believe that the ship was put into service too early. The furnishings in the cabin were the only pleasant thing. The public areas had not been vacuumed and the general grime was to be seen. Also my luggage was lost until I went and found it myself. Apparently I wasn't the only one. That was not the worst thing though. That was the tendering process at Esperance. My husband and I were given tender tickets at 8.50am and waited till 11.30am to get on one. There was no communication whatsoever between the crew and passengers save for a few stupid jokes. We arrived in Esperance at 12.05 and were back to get on board at 12.50pm. We were at the head of the line finally when the empty tender was sent back to the ship. "Technical Problems" apparently. It was 3.30pm when we were on board. There was no shade or seating from the hot weather and the cold water had ran out. The young girls from Taylor's Tea Rooms are to be comendered for supplying distressed people with iced jugs of water. No thanks to P. O.

Unfortunately the Pantry is a bit of a disaster in my opinion. There is very little to choose from a is mostly cold. The dining room has picked up,it's game a little since we boarded but still has a long way to go. There so many other problems associated with this cruise, but I have insufficient time to list. After our earlier cruise on Princess Lines, I find Pacific Eden so far behind the eight ball that they should be ashamed to take our money.
