Let me start by saying the staff onboard are fantastic, the meals in Luminae were outstanding and the ports were beautiful however, this did not make up for a tired, worn ship that is in need of major upgrades.

Granted our last cruise was on the Royal Princess in a mini suite and enjoyed every moment of the 7 days we were on it and it is much larger than the Summit, the Summit just didn't seem to offer the same experience or anywheres near the "Modern Luxury" feel we got on the Royal Princesss . We were in a Sky Suite and it was less impressive than the mini suite on the Royal (come on celebrity upgrade the videos available to watch at night when a person is trying to unwind after a busy day) it felt old outdated although was spotlessly clean. Our butler was fantastic as were all staff as I mentioned before.

Entertainment in the Theater was mediocre, bingo is a very expensive joke, and the casino it seems no one wins much at all.
