Ok I shall start at the beginning please fasten your seat belts it's starts off with slight turbulence. We flew from Manchester, UK to Atlanta where we had to get our connecting flight to San Juan . We checked out the connections board and told us it was gate e something (can't remember number now) so we took the train to e gate after picking up luggage and popping it on the transfer belt. All was well grabbed a bite to eat, half hour before we were due to take off we were still waiting to board ,absolutely nothing happening. Noticed a couple of Puerto Rican karate guys get up and start walking somewhere .... Long story short we were at the WRONG GATE,!!we needed to be B 3 !!! Omg sweating now running through huge airport getting back on train to get to gate B we actually made it on to the plane but only because there had been a cleaning issue!! Thank god for the messy passengers before us lol.
Arrived in San Juan late, we were staying at Hyatt house which was lovely, I only wish we'd have flown in a few days earlier to enjoy it properly. The room was amazing and had a fab view of the ship in the morning when we woke up.
We were told to have luggage ready to pick up at eleven and we would be picked up at 1pm which I thought was a bit late and but went with it, we actually got picked up before our luggage which was quite worrying. Check in was smooth as we were staying in a suite there were no lines. Went through the scanners with hand luggage which was my handbag , camera bag and two bottles of baileys (duty free bought in Manchester) and guess what it wasn't taken from us!!! I was baffled. Anyway got on ship in torrential downpour with baileys, made our way to guest services with baileys to put some cash down on account, bought a soda package and popped to cafe promenade (less busy than wj) then went to check out our room.
