Our cruise began on October 1st from Quebec City.

Boarding was quick and painless. We were able to go to our stateroom immediately. Our luggage was delivered very quickly.

The ship does show some slight signs of wear. Walking around the deck, we could see supplies being readied for updating the interior. We did not worry about whether or not the ship showed wear as we were more interested in the itinerary.

Our stateroom was always clean and well tended. Gemma and Erwin, our stewards, took excellent care of us. The stateroom chairs had a few loose threads, but that was no problem. My problem with the cruise ships are the sizes of the showers. There is barely enough room to turn around in the shower, and you have to step out if you drop anything.
