Just about nothing went well on this cruise. I am a wheelchair user and we are always the last off the plane and a nice Italian lady came to push me through passport control and left me at the exit door where I was greeted (not) by P & O reps by being told they had let the accessible bus go and I would have to wait half an hour for another. And, by the way the coach park is 15 minutes away and we will never get the wheelchair assistance back so you will have to get yourself there.

The boat is old and tired but that didn't bother me and our cabin was large and supposed to have 'partially restricted' view from the window. This actually meant there was a lifeboat blocking the whole window and we had no view whatsoever.

The food was poor. We were really looking forward to Kotor, our first stop but this was aborted and we spent another day at sea. I spent some of this day trying to arrange to get into Rome, when we docked at Cittavechia in a couple of days. The excursions team explained in great detail how this would not be possible for me - not their fault, no accessible busses in Italy. I did get off I did find a bus I could get on to but with no help from them.

Cabin Review

Outside Twin with Shower (Part-Obstucted View)

Cabin NA

It was large, shabby and had seriously uncomfortable beds. The whole window was obstructed by a life boat there was no view whatsoever except a tint bit of sky.

Port Reviews

Corfu

We had a lovely sunny day, found a fabulous restaurant Rex which had a first class disabled wc and some of the best squid I have ever eaten.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Cittavechia was really busy and we didn't get to see a great deal. Waiting for busses on the quayside took way too long and we watched taxis trying to extort huge amounts from passengers, then driving back a few minutes later and offer a decent price.

Genoa

Off the boat really early rushed through customs with no opportunity to shop only to wait a couple of hours on the runway as baggage control was on strike.
