My two cousins and I celebrated turning 50 on the cruise and it couldn't have been any better. The staff treated us like royalty - as I'm sure they do for all guests.
The shows were excellent and I am sure we'll be seeing those young people on main stages (TV, movies, Broadway, etc) soon!
The band, Anchor Management, rocked the Eighties to perfection!
Cute as it could be. Three comfy beds. Roomy bathroom. Felt like I might fall through the toilet seat, but this was my first cruise, so that might be normal. Anyway, I got used to it. ha
In spite of our mess after a particularly eventful day at the beach (50yr old women vs. a rough surf), our cabin was cleaned from top to bottom and in between, getting rid of all our sand and wet beach towels.
We went to the beach at the Lacayan Resort and enjoyed it greatly. Very relaxed...nice and easy day.
We went to Coco beach and two of us almost drowned in the rough surf. The port area was pretty but the beach area was not relaxing at all with all the people and sales folks hawking their wares. However, that does make for excellent people-watching.
