This was our 5th cruise with Princess and our first on the Regal. At first look the ship seemed huge and intimidating. Once on though, we felt right at home by the second day. The embarkation was handled very well, waiting time was minimal and was efficient.

There were no problems finding seats in any activity. The venues were great. The only thing we felt could be improved upon was the "Princess Live" theater. The seats were uncomfortable and there was minimal air circulation. The screens used for trivia were great, but the seating is awful for more than 2 people in a group.

The dining room was beautiful and the food fantastic. The design for the buffet is very efficient and allows for traffic flow much better than the other buffets we have experienced with Princess. Also we never had an issue finding a seat. Loved the Atrium. Alfredo's (the sit down pizza dining) was terrific, and we loved the gelato.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

Standard balcony room with a small balcony. The bathroom was designed well with a larger shower. Bed was very comfortable. Having the TV on the wall is great. Easy access to the aft and mid sets of elevators. Great location.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

I love New York. The embarkation process was easy and efficient.

Halifax

Peggy's Cove is beautiful and not to be missed.

Bar Harbor

Gorgeous scenery. Loved the small bus.

Boston

If I were to do a trolley tour I would not book with the cruise line. For the same cost book it privately, as this tour was very truncated compared to the normal ones.
