Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We had a balcony cabin on deck 8 which was perfect. Great layout, stacks of well designed storage, bathroom with walk-in shower. No toiletries provided, we had to buy supplies for my husband in Port Klang. They didn't even provide a shower cap, fortunately I had one.

The ship is fabulous, Solarium Pool was a lovely oasis, Royal Promenade is a great spot although the shops are expensive and the staff not terribly interested in customers. The Captain's welcome party was held in the Promenade which was excellent with plenty of bubbles. Dining room is also a lovely room but the food was very disappointing. We had a couple of dinners which were quite good but there were Indian specials every night and those dining with us who chose these meals were not impressed.

We had particularly bad service, second sitting the table was never ready, we had to continually ask for bread, the wine waiter was flustered and disorganised. We had room service for breakfast one morning and that was lovely, the best pastries, really buttery.

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

One of the best balcony cabins we have had. Really comfy bed, large sofa and loads of storage.
