Celebrity Solstice, 18 night Tahitian Treasures Cruise, October 2 2015

Our decision to take this cruise was based on the glowing reports of the ship Celebrity Solstice. We had some years ago travelled Celebrity Century Sydney Hawaii the reverse to this cruise, and enjoyed the experience greatly.

Our cruise on Solstice was somewhat a disappointment in several ways which I have set out herein. Most particularly with the hype give the vessel in media and other advertising material. The on TV special Mighty Cruise Ships depicted the Solstice in a much different light to the actual cruise we experienced, in particular to the matter of food in the Ocean View café.

Cabin fine, quite spacious, hanging space limited.
