The food was delicious, the ship beautiful, the crew helpful and the Jungle Show impressive. What is a continuing problem that I have experienced on the 14 or so cruises that my wife and have taken in the last 9 years is the lack of monitoring of activities by the pool.

We wish to have a relaxing vacation. We do not consider drunk people jumping in the pool with no regard to the safety of those already in the water. Signs are clearly posted to refrain from jumping but are not enforced.

On November 4th at between 4:30 and 4:45 PM while the pool was relatively calm and not overly crowded, one male kept flopping into the pool backwards. My wife kindly asked him to discontinue to no avail. A few minutes later, that same person pushed another guest into the pool narrowly missing me while my back was turned to that area of the pool. The Pool "Guard" did speak with him. I subsequently spoke with the Pool Guard and later security and Guest Relations. I doubt if much came out of it. The misbehaving person did apologize but an apology has no effect if someone is injured and that idea of having fun on a cruise means to possibly injure others who just wish for a peaceful cruise.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Very comfortable. Bed mattresses are already quite soft and sagging. They already need to be replaced.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We did what we always do and took a cab to Cabbage Island for $4 per person and enjoyed swimming there. Much less expensive than the cost of any excursion that the ship offers.

Great Stirrup Cay

This was the second time that we did not fully enjoy Great Stirrup Cay. Although we did make it to the cay and swam for 20 minutes, everyone had to return to the ship due to the heavy waves causing problems for tendering people. Understandable. The previous time this happened for us, NCL or the Captain provided rounds of rum punch as compensation. This trip, they just brought us to the Bahamas the night before and certainly no big deal.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Stayed on ship as a 1 PM arrival was not ideal to take a trip to Coco Beach, especially with the time change. The ship should have been scheduled to arrive much earlier but that was not to be.
